After two days of travel and with about fourty five minutes worth of sleep, we finally made it to the Philippines! When we got on the bus to head to we are currently staying, Manila, and it was apparent that we were diving deeper into what God has in store for us. We had to make a pit stop along the way and there was a local police officer walking around with a shotgun slug accross his shoulder. We have been advised not to go out after around eight in the evening and not before six or seven in the morning. We were told all of this and saw some things but after meeting the people here you would never think that we had anything to worry about. I have walk around a bit since ariving and I have instantly taking a liking to this place. Words cannot describe all I can really say is that you can see the pictures and see the videos, but to actually be here is something that leaves me speachless.
You feel a tug, a pull on your heart walking the streets. It is hard to describe, but I will try, you look at the faces and see Jesus. I see Him saying “Will you help?…………….Will you care?………….. Will you love?” I can’t help but to be moved when I see them. I want to ask you all something, will you help? Will you you care? Will you love? Can you? Will you? I decided to do something and will give it my all. Jesus loves me, this I know. It is because He loves me that I am compelled to help, to care, to love.

Our team has not yet found out what we will be doing yet but no matter what I am very excited!!!!! We are currently doing a debrief of the past couple of months with our squad leaders and coaches. We will be here at least for four more days or so. I do know that there are several minisrty
opportunities that could possibly be what we end up doing. One is working in the jail/prison and another is ministering to some local prostitutes. Having worked as a corrections officer I would love the chance to work at the jail. Please be praying that God just place us where He wants us.
NEWS FLASH!!!!! I found out that by April we need to have $11,500 dollars in our accounts, I have a little over nine. Please I need your continued support in order to continue working for the Lord. I am faithful that He will provide and pray that my financial goals still are met, as I do have deadlines to meet. Please if you are able to help prayerfully consider supporting me in Gods work. I would also ask for your continued prayers, for my team and for myself. Thank you all and God bless.
With love your brother in Christ,
Eric
