Ok so like for the past couple of weeks it has been raining like alot!!!!! My tent got flooded twice and my stuff got twice as wet to days in a row earlier this week. PRAISE GOD!!!!!! We have been working on a house here that the church here in Mareeba owns. We have been giving it a face lift so to speak, like “Extreme Home Make Over” World Race style!!!!! So that has been a slow process but we are getting the job done. We also have been doing stuff with the youth here. Like last week on Friday it was crazy Auston got covered in this slimmy soapy green stuff, I got overed in honey, flower, corn flakes and shaving cream!!!! It was cool! last night we had a beat boxing and dance compotition. Some of the kids had been teahing us some “sweet moves” lol we gave it our best shot lol. We have about a week left here then off to Cairnes (Can’s) then Darwin and then off to the Philippines!!!! Man time is flying!!!!
I will get some pictures posted soon as I haven’t had any in a while but will get some for you all soon. The crazy part about last night was that this guy showed up to the church drunk. He is 29 and his name is Mick. I was going to give a word to the teens when this guy came up to me and started just pouring his heart out to me. Auston took over and gave a word, I stated talking with Mick and then his brother Josh as well. They truly have had it rough but both are really just looking for God. Tanna and I talked to them for like 2 and a half hours last night. We have extened an invitation to them for them time we are still here to talk to them some more and help them as much as possible. Please be praying for God to open their hearts and let His love in.
