Well I know I havent posted very many photos so far, it takes a lot of time uploading them. But I have been taking them! So here is a bunch of my photos. Oh yeah, this means that I made it to Guatemala and am not dead. It was a great race, although we did not win. Not to self, short cuts are not the main way for a reason, even if the driver swears by it. Three hours of wandering and a lost lead later, we get back on the highway. Oh well, it was still fun!

Adrian, Marcos´s son in Arroyo Palenque. He loved gettin his picture taken.

Young girl in the Arroyo village

More boys in the Arroyo village. They loved the gringos, they were just about the only ones who did.

Chickens are everywhere, but we helped decrease the surplus population by about three everyday.
Baby Gaudy, the Marcos´s daughter. SOO cute!

I dont think she enjoyed doing our laundry as much as we did.

Talia, Jon, and Eric Retterbush all got baptized together, making by far the ¨holiest¨team on the race.

Pastor Francisco praying during the baptism in the beautiful river.

Talia coming forth after being baptized.
I know they are happy, but doesn´t Jon look just a little bit creepy?

Mayan artwork at the ruins of Palenque.
More artwork. The color is still fantastically blood red.
It was an incredible month in Mexico! I hope the pictures tell the story. It was sad to leave and I hope to be able to return one day to see how much will have happened. Thank you all for supporting me in the World Race. I hope and pray that Costa Rica will be even more memorable!
