Hey guys

I want to share with you guys a letter that I wrote to myself a year and a half ago. I just found it and I thought it was interesting. Some of it may not make entire sense to everyone, but most will. So here it is…

Greetings from L’arcada,

Are you the man you want to be? Do you desire what God desires? Are you living an adventure? Are you fighting your battles or letting Satan win? Have you rescued your beauty?

Are you following the dreams and passions in your life? What about being a river guide or a fisherman? Do you remember the dream for Montana? What new dreams do you have? Don’t settle for the 9-5, you know that’s not what you want.

Be an interesting person, be God’s warrior. Live a life people will want to read about. Live a life so as when you die, you hear God say, “Well done my good and faithful son!” Don’t settle for the common life, you know you fear that.

Live God’s adventure that He has for you! Do not forget who you are. You are an adventurer and you are God’s son! Sing like the saved! Dance like the saved! He put this joy in your heart! Live well and die happy!

The Lumberjack,

The Adventurer,

God’s Son,

God’s Warrior.

I found that letter and just smiled. For so long I have dreamed of my life being this crazy adventure. We are all this adventure together and I am so glad I get to share it with you guys. You are all adventurers and constantly encourage me! Thank you guys!

P.S. I went to Carlsbad, New Mexico last weekend to do some caving and rock climbing, you know, general adventure stuff. I put up a couple pictures, so check em out!
