Yes, the time has come…..Training Camp for the World Race! Going to the “middle of nowhere” Tennessee…..known as Copperhill, TN on Google Maps to meet people that I will spend 11 months with in 11 countries sharing the Gospel and serving the least of these! I know it is CRAZY!
How often do you get to meet complete strangers from all over the USA, and get to travel the world with them! To become more than strangers, friends, or fellow adventurous people but to grow into a FAMILY! To embrace experiences that I can’t even begin to wrap my head around, to see things that so few ever see, and to have encounters in life so few will ever have.
A lot of people find or found it hard to share a college dorm room with a stranger for a year….and yet the World Race requires building a COMMUNITY in situations where everyone is going to be at some point uncomfortable physically, mentally, or emotionally and drive us to reach complete BROKENNESS!
BROKENNESS is the place we all desire! At that point is where we completely give up trying to do life our way…controlling our career, relationships, and possessions. Once we find that kind of brokenness is when God can build us up in His IMAGINE! To rely on His strength, wisdom, guidance, comfort, love, support…..to embrace Him fully!
Training camp is the first step in the entire process! It’s the initial meet, greet and grow stage. It’s the tip of the iceberg of going to the ends of earth in serving the least of these! I am so stoked and ready for this step to begin because it is coming whether you are ready or not! But really…..who could ever be ready for such an experience. I would call myself crazy if I thought I was ready….but I am fully surrendered to His will and that is all that is required!
What steps do you need to take to fully rely on God’s strength and to live in complete surrendering to His will?
The area you are trying to control the most, is the area that needs to be surrender the most! Lay it down at the foot of the cross, embrace what Jesus did for you over 2,000 years ago and walk in His freedom!
Be Bold in discovering the areas of your life that you need to surrender.
Be Intentional in seeking help and learning to live differently to follow His calling.
