The Joy of the Lord

It goes deep & within beyond all understanding and consumes thoughts, emotions and pain, exchanging them for a stillness and peace, stirring our hearts towards gratefulness and satisfaction.

It turns our eyes and mind towards our all powerful, rich in mercy and abounding in lover Father who allows and invites us to share with Him in His Joy.

His Joy des not change depending on circumstances but remains even when the fiercest of storms encompasses us and blurs what we see.

When words and actions attempt to diminish and rid us of this Joy they fail. But this Joy is not one that only remains in us but overflows towards all who we encounter.

It is anchored yet spreads like wildfire.

One can try and deny its existence but its very essence is what has kept this world from being overcome by complete hoplessness.

The difference between Joy and happiness is that happiness depends on the situations we are in and is as fleeting as a smoke in the wind,

while the Joy of the LORD is constant, persevering through wind and storm, through rain and drought.

One cannot stand unmoved, untouched as he experiences this Joy.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength. When I do not receive this Joy I am prone to doubt, complain and judge.

   His Joy is Jesus.

Let me live in this Joy always

Allow me to breath it

To be so consumed by it

I will shine to all for your sake

You are my anchor

My only reason to live

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.”
