Update:::
A few things have happened since the last time I posted.
I have been added to the Ireland 2014 Ambassador Facebook page and group text messaging; so I've been in contact with the girls from my team and I absolutely adore them already. So pumped to meet them in a few weeks!
I found out who my co-leader is and I AM SO EXCITED to spend time with her. She is someone that I met while working with AIM last Fall. She is super encouraging, hilarious, loves coffee, and loves the heck outta some Jesus. Gosh. I can't wait.
And I found out a little bit more of what we will be doing while in Ireland, which is a little bit of everything.
We will be hanging out with teenagers; playing games, worshipping, doing skits, etc. Basically just doing life with them and showing them the love of Christ.
We will be getting our hands dirty by serving people in the community through work projects.
We will also be doing door to door evangelism and home visits with the churches in the community.
Fun Fact: One week out of the month that we are there, we will be taking a boat every day to get to our ministry site. YAY!!
I am pumped about this. I am excited to see the things that the Father does while we are there. Shoot, He's already doing His thing there, we just get to go and be a part of what He is already doing and what He will continue to do when we leave.
Thank you all so much for being a part of this with me.
Fundraising update: I am still in need of $573, which is not bad, not bad at all. If you feel led to support me financially, you can click on the Support Me link to the left of the screen and it should guide you pretty easily.
Also, prayer warriors, I would love to have you join with me in this next month and a half in praying for the Father's heart to continue to be revealed to the people of Ireland as well as to my team. That we would see Him in everything that is done there. Whether it's during our service projects or in our down time. Ministry never stops. "Missions" never stops. If you would like to be updated via email while I am there, then shoot me an email letting me know it's you & I will keep ya posted: [email protected]
Thank you all!
I turned 24 in Swaziland, Africa this past February. I decided to make a list of 24 things that I wanted to do for my 24th year of life. I dreamt big, because I mean, why not? Ya know.
Well, #6 (that is not a hashtag, it's actually the number symbol) is happening:::::

I am going to Ireland.
This has all been decided within the last 48 hours. It's crazy how fast God works when you just say yes to Him. No joke.
I am so excited.
Ireland is a country that has been on my heart for quite some time now. It is a beautiful country filled with loving people, but there is a heavy spirit of hopelessness looming over the country. I am looking forward to sharing about the hope that is Jesus with the people of Ireland and even learning a little bit more about it myself.
I will be co-leading an Ambassador trip, which will consist of an all-girls high school team (at the moment, I think it will be 9 girls+me&my co-leader).
I am really excited to work with this age group, but I am not gonna lie, I am also a bit nervous. It's been a long time since I've worked with high schoolers. However, I know without a doubt that the Father has equipped me with what I need, to do life with these girls. It's gonna be AWEsome.
Some small details:::
I will be in Georgia from July 1st-July 7th and then we will fly out on the 7th of July for Ireland. We will return to the states on July 31st and then have a day of debrief in Atlanta.
That's actually all I know at the moment. As soon as I find out more details about what ministry will look like, then I will let y'all know. I should be finding out this week.
This is something that I will have to fundraise for:) yay!
How much: $750.
That's it. That is the smallest amount of money I have ever had to raise for a trip. That covers airfare, to and from Ireland, food, and lodging for 21 days.
I would love, love, love your support whether it's prayerfully, financially, or both. If you would like to support me financially, you can go to the "Support Me" link at the top left side of the page and click it. It should walk you through all the steps pretty easily.
Thank you to all who have supported me thus far, you have no idea the blessing that you have been to me. I hope to share about it over a cup of coffee with you one day!
And thank you, thank you, thank you, again, for believing in the Kingdom and wanting to bring it to Earth.
Y'all rock.
I would love to answer any questions you may have so feel free to shoot me an email: [email protected] OR [email protected]
Be Blessed
Emmaly
