Hi. My name is Emma Marie Hiwalani Reddekopp (Emma, meaning industrious; Marie, meaning star-of-the-sea; Hiwalani, meaning precious heaven; Reddekopp meaning red-head.) Born the second day of spring, ’95.

I am the second of five children (the only daughter) born to the best parents any child could ever hope to have. Together, we own and operate the first commercial vanilla farm in the US.

I was born in the city of Honolulu, raised in the beach town of Kailua, before ending up in the Shire- *ahem* -I mean, the Hamakua coast on the slopes of Mauna Kea, a (hopefully) dormant volcano.

I am a daughter, sister, (soon-to-be) aunty (!!!!), granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend;

a singer, writer, artist, musician, designer, and chef;

a rather emotional worshiper, voracious reader, incurable daydreamer, studier of people and character, coffee addict;

believer of the impossible, hoper of big hopes, thinker of big thoughts, student of life, lover of Christ.

So, here I am, about to embark on another chapter of my ultimate adventure (and it’s definitely the most exciting chapter so far!) Stick around and sit tight, this is bound to be a wild ride!
