Psalm 1
of Emma.
May God bless those who follow His word. Who care for the sick, the poor, and the fatherless.
May God not hand them over to sickness—but rather bless them, for their hearts are found aligned with His.
God will protect them and not give them over to their enemies; seen and unseen.
“[God] sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their… illness” (Ps. 41:3).
They put their hope in God, that He might heal them despite their human folly and foolishness.
God goes before them on the tuk-tuk flipping roads they take.
There is nothing that surprises Him; no illness, no opposition, no bump in the road.
Their enemies speak against them and thus against their God. They find the strength to fight in Him.
Appointed heirs through the Holy Spirit they do not fear.
Even when the world comes crashing down and their friends become their opposers and the world tries to send them to the grave.
They have no fear, they will not be quiet, they strive to make God known, for He is good always.
