She doesn’t take life lightly.

Each times I scroll through my facebook newsfeed I am reminded that my mother lives life to the absolute fullest.

Anne Morris, or “Ana” as most of her friends call her, is for sure cooler than me and probably cooler than you. My mom spends her days molding minds at an all girls catholic school. She teaches and has taught World Religions, Church and Sacraments, Spanish, and other courses. She gives her students her absolute all and pushes them daily to be more and to know their opinions matter. Outside of her school schedule, she also occasionally teaches adults at numerous churches around Houston. When she isn’t educating America, Ana spends her time studying and dancing flamenco.

Let me paint a picture for you.

Mother of four. Scottish descent. Short red hair.
….dancing flamenco.

For those of you who are unaware, flamenco is a style of music often accompanied by dancing that originates from Spain.

Mi Madre (my mom in Spanish) works harder, loves bigger, and chases life better than most. She says yes to each and every challenge God places in front of her.

As most of you know, I have been traveling for the past seven months through Southeast Asia and a bit of Africa. I have about four months ahead of me where I will be continuing to partner with organizations who are working hard to share God’s love with their communities.

During month nine in Romania, our parents have the opportunity to join in on the adventure. They get the chance to work alongside us for one week to help and love the people of Romania.

My mom loves me and those around her daily. I would be ecstatic if my mom got the chance to love the people of Romania. For this to happen, I have to fundraise for my mom to get to join me. I have to fundraise the money to pay for her flights (probably about $2000) and to fund the actual week long mission trip (about $600). If you have any interest in helping send Madre Morris to Romania please email me at [email protected]

If you’d like to hear more about THE Anne Morris or details about the week long mission trip or if you’d like some dance moves tips also feel free to email me.

¡Viva Anne Morris!
