So I was thinking…  I know I didn’t mail EVERYONE a mission letter!  So for those of you who may of not gotten one, here is it! 🙂

Dear family and friends,
Hello!  I hope and pray that this letter finds you well.  I would like to tell you a bit about what the Lord has and is doing in my life.  In the past I have been on eight mission trips to different places in the bush of Alaska including Eagle, Galena, and Kokrine Hills Bible Camp. I have also counseled at Victory Bible Camp for two months.  Throughout the years the Lord has just continued to grow my love for Him, and passion for missions.

I am now in my Sr. year of High School, and The Lord is opening amazing doors and opportunities for me to serve Him abroad.  I have been lead by Him and accepted to go on a mission trip called “The World Race, Gap Year” which is associated A.I.M. (Adventures in Missions).   This wonderful trip the Lord has called me to will take me on a nine month journey with 15 other people to Central America, Southeast Asia, and Africa.  Spending three months in each country, the team and I will have the opportunity to establish and have meaningful relationships with the people of those communities, and share the love and hope of Christ with them.

Through the World Race, my team and I will serve with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the amazing hope of the Father’s love to many.

As I embark on this journey, I know I can’t do it alone and would like to ask for your prayers and financial support, if the Lord leads you.  Every one of you is just as much in this as I am, as you’re my brothers and sisters in Christ!

I will face many challenges on this trip, but as of now my biggest challenge is fund raising.  Each missionary is responsible for raising his or her own funds for the trip.  To leave I need to be fully funded by August 22, 2014, in a grand total of $13,000.  That covers all costs for the 9 months.

If you choose to give a tax deductable donation, I’ve included a support card.  You can also donate online via credit card or EFT transfer by going to my blog (emmalark.theworldrace.org) and clicking “Support me!”.  If you choose to pay by check, send to Adventures in Missions P.O. Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570.  Please make sure you put my name on the memo line so it will be put to my fund.   No gift is too small, and all are greatly appreciated!!!

Even if you can’t support me financially I would greatly appreciate your prayerful support! Thank you for your time in reading this letter and I hope you have a blessed day.

                                                              God bless you always,
                                                                                                      Emma Lark
