We need to talk…
The Lord has put something big on my heart. I have a lot to tell all of you about training camp and all of the events leading up to it, but I cannot get those words out until I do what the Lord has set on my heart very strongly.

Here’s what you need to know first (and I can elaborate later)

1.   About a week and a half before Training Camp, I received an email from my mobilizer asking the members of my squad to pray about switching to another squad that didn’t have as many people because it had been opened up several months after the original 3.
2.   After 20 hours of praying and agonizing over what to do, I chose to be obedient.
3.   I am now a member of P-Squad. 47 of us will be traveling to: South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Moldova and Romania
4.   My Squad needs your help

A call to arms…

I never knew I could love 47 people so completely after a week of knowing them. In the 7 days of Training Camp, these strangers became my family. We broke down one another’s walls, we ate together, we prayed together, and we learned to work together as a team. These are people of amazing faith. These are people who are willing to listen to the Lord. I admire each and every one of them more than I can express. These are people the Lord has been using to teach me how to let go of my idea of control.
In the two weeks following camp, I have been praying about what the Lord has been teaching me. I have been praying about how to express the wonderful things that happened at training camp to my supporters and also to the people who read my blog. I have also been praying for my squad.
Many of these wonderful people decided to go on the World Race a month or two before training camp. The Lord met their first deadline of $3500. Now they have another deadline coming up. They need $6,500 in their support accounts by  December 15th in order to leave in January.
In my time praying for them, the Lord asked me to do something scary. I am asking you, supporters, subscribers, friends and random readers to help support the members of my squad who have not met their second deadlines. They all bring value to our squad. I have $11,000 in my support account, and this has been a huge blessing. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to ask for something completely crazy.

Who YOU can help and how:

Below is a list of the 16 people who are not at the goal of $6,500. I am asking you, dear friend, to visit their blogs and read their stories. I am asking you to pray about what the Lord would have you do. If the Lord places it on your heart to support them, you can click the “Support Me” tab on the left-hand side of their blogs. No amount is too small. $5, $11 and even $25 will make a gigantic difference. Please invest in their lives and the lives they will be touching on the Race.

Note: Donations need to be made by December 1st in order to process through by the 15th
