Bethany and I quickly decided after yesterday that this was not the month to do Insanity. We already work our bodies to "insane" levels during our 8-hour intense work days. So today, our day started with 6 am devotionals and breakfast, followed by finishing the work we had left from yesterday at the sanctuary.

We managed to push the car out of the mud and up the mountain, and then we moved to get the rest of the wood. This consisted of climbing up the mountain (which could be considered a hike in itself), grabbing a piece of wood, and taking it down the hill. After we did that, we then moved some HUGE cut up tree trunks over a creek and past the gate. It wasn't that far, but the pieces were so heavy, and it was so muddy, that it often took 3-4 of the guys and us to move them. We were so muddy and sweaty when we got back that it looked like we had showered in mud (this is looking to be our normal state for the month).

After we got back, I went out back to keep working on the fertilizer. I mixed the two soils Amie and I dug the day before, then combined four shovels mixed soil with 1/2 shovel rice grain, then mixed that. I did that most of the day (stopping only when it rained a few times). After coffee break, Amie & Bethany came and helped me fill little black bags with the fertilizer. We got about 80 bags done before it started raining and Tony told us to call it a day.

After dinner, I journalled while the group watched a movie on the projector.

One cool conversation I had was with Rosita. I happened to ask her what her spiritual gifts were, she answered that she has the gifts of wisdom and counseling. For her, this includes setting captives free, and helping people find freedom through forgiving others and themselves, and through asking for forgiveness. My main spiritual gift is wisdom, and I want to potentially use this gift one day through counseling and setting captives free, so this was such a perfect thing for me to find out! I have never really sought out advice about how to walk in this gifting, so "seeking wisdom about wisdom" was so useful for me. I'm excited to continue to have conversations about these things and hearing what she has to say about it all.
