Training camp was incredible, absolutely incredible. My fire for Christ and for spreading the Good News to the nations was completely recharged and set on fire. God is so good!! My teammates are some of the wisest and more incredible people I have ever met in my life and for so many different reasons. They have such vast differences and qualities about them that I am just in awe of their presence in my life.
I met my teammates, the only girl squad, which at first I had a hard time understanding why God put me with all females, but of course, he had a good reason. Over camp I realized God wanted me to break up with my boyfriend for the race, that I needed to put my all into Him in order to send me out to the nations. It would be so tough to try to connect with Dan while overseas and to have him on my mind instead of the mission at hand. I still love Dan so much and it is very hard, but God has given me a peace about this and thankfully, Dan completely and respectfully understands and agrees.
