Native to a rural town in Pennsylvania, I had to adjust to the traffic madness that circulates around the Dallas, Texas metroplex. Who would have thought people could apply eyeliner, smack their kids in the back seat, text, and merge through four lanes of traffic during rush hour… at the same time? So many people fly around on the roads accomplishing as much as they can while en route to their destination. It‘s obvious they‘re not overwhelmingly aware of the Pontiac attempting to merge into the same lane or the Toyota they just cut off.

Sometimes I wonder if -like those maniac drivers- we as believers become accustom to the normal routines of life so we pack out our schedules with events and activities so much that we forget those around us. I am no exception to this tendency. On the verge of a transition in my life, I began seeking out opportunities where my heart and passions would meet. I’m blessed with the chance to travel with the World Race starting in September.

So with much anticipation and excitement, I’m opening up my life in this blog and invite you to come along for the journey.
