We made it to Kenya! YAY!! For the last week we have been staying in Nairobi at a hostel while having debrief. It has been great to have a few days off. Kenya has been amazing. Everyone speaks English, the weather has been about 70F (it is winter here), and the coffee is really good and not instant! 🙂
During debrief the rest of our race was announced to us and goes like this: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ireland (for the awakening, only 2 weeks), Romania, Ukraine, and Moldova.
This month we will be in Kitale, Kenya staying at a local orphanage. We will be working with a local church but I am not exactly what ministry will look like yet. We leave tomorrow morning, will have about a 6 hour bus ride and then the fun will begin. I am very excited about Africa. The people are so friendly and I am very excited to see what God has in store for the month.
Please pray for safety in traveling, for everyone to stay healthy (no malaria or typhoid), and for God to do and move in amazing way.
