Swaziland.
A land of green. From the moment that we pulled up to the mountaintop that is our home this month, I could feel the favor of the Lord and a spirit of rest covering my heart. Especially being a Colorado girl, I feel so close to the Lord when I look at these hills.
Welcome to the kingdom.

My team, Rooted Waters, is paired up this month with an awesome team of seven people, N’ Pursuit. The twelve of us are living and working with a ministry called El Shaddai, an orphanage for boys and girls, babies to kids in middle school. We hold babies, help tutor older kids, work in the preschool, scrape paint and work in the garden. It’s such an awesome ministry and it’s been so much fun to get to know these kids.
I feel like the theme of this month is learning how to rest. As I look out on those hills and listen to my Father, I know that he is my help, my strength, the lifter of my head. He is bringing peace and rest to my soul.
“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all of the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” – Isaiah 55: 12-13
More to come, friends! Thank you for all of your prayers and support. Love and miss you all.
