We are in Eldoret, Kenya this month working with Releasing Destinies Ministries. We are living with Pastor Patrick and his family outside the city in a village. Most of our days are spent doing door to door ministry around the village. The vision of this ministry is to reach the people in this area who have been hurt or rejected by the church, so this next week we will be visiting different homes trying to invite people to visit the church. We are also responsible for the preaching this month, so pray for that! Because we only have internet once a week, and we’re almost out of time for today, this is going to have to be short, but here are a few pictures of our first week in Kenya! Please keep our team in your prayers, especially for our health. We do a lot of walking and eating foods that our bodies aren’t too used to yet, so a few of us haven’t been feeling so good since we got here.

This is the yard of the compound we’re staying in, taken from the porch of the house where the girls live. The guys live in the house in the picture.
This is the inside of the girls’ house. Our bedroom is the door on the back left.
This is Jeremy, the pastor and his wife’s cute little 3 year old boy.
On Saturday we went on a hike to a waterfall.
It’s hard to tell, but it was really pretty and you could climb behind it.
Jeremy wasn’t as convinced about the waterfall as the rest of us.
Thank you for your prayers!! Please continue to pray for us, and also please keep praying for Emmi at Lighthouse in Action in Thailand and the girls whose stories I told in my previous blog series. They are still in the legal process of becoming Thai citizens so that they can work. Emmi still needs prayer and financial support to make all of these changes in the girls’ lives possible.
