There are blessings all around us. Some blessings are more evident then others. This month has been fun of many blessings. One of those blessings is a Christian family that I have gotten to know. When we first arrived in Santa Cruz I met their son and daughter. The son I got to sit with at lunch and hear a little about his life before we went out into the community that day to do ministry. His name is Andres and a University from the states wants him to come play and so this fall he is planning to go. He was part of the medical team that week helping them translate. We went to Lagunillas the next day so we didn’t see them and didn’t think we would. After being in Lagunillas we came to Santa Cruz where we did ministry until we left for La Paz. Santa Cruz is a very big place but we did ministry with University Evangelical and it was very close to where they lived in Santa Cruz. We were invited over to their family restaurant to have dinner while in Santa Cruz. They have the cutest chicken restaurant I have seen and the love they have for each other is very evident. You can see that God is blessing their lives and they live their lives around God.
There was a dentist who was also our translator while in Lagunillas the second week. She was from Columbia her name is Naime. She had visited Bolivia for a short time and now is working as a dentist there staying with Andres and his family. Her life story is beautiful and seeing her love on the children in the villages we visited fixing their teeth you could see God all over her life. I could see at times it was hard for her being away from her family but she loves Bolivia and she even told us she wanted to meet us in Malaysia when we went their. She just wants to go and be Gods feet wherever that may be. She was such a blessing to all of us.
There was Pedro, who is full Bolivian but speaks perfect English. He went everywhere with us and showed us how to love not only his country but his community. His family felt called to leave what was comfortable in Santa Cruz when he was 18 years old. He has gone through so much in three years but he finds so much joy in Christ. We met him because his pastor told him about us being there and he was back because his visa was going to expire as well as he was getting prepared for a YWAM team to come to his country from Texas.

Sometimes you don’t realize what you have until it’s gone and it is very true. You can never put more love into something/relationships. You can give all you have and not have love.
1 Corinthians 13:3-6 says, “If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.”
Giving all you have and even dieing for Christ looks good but if you don’t love then your life is pretty pointless in everything you do. Giving all I have along side love is what I want my life to be all about because God is love. When we love we can show others Christ and we will abide in him! Leaving Bolivia is one of the hardest things I am going to do, I could marry this country.
