My previous blog, "Strangers to Family in 4 months" I talk about team R.O.A.R., the family we have become and I describe certain (not all) qualities that describe a specific member and their impact on myself and the team. We were a beautiful unit and we thought we were in it till the end.
Then God comes along and brings change….change that is for our good.
But, sometimes change really sucks.
Since the race began we have known our Squad Leaders (Jeremy and Kat) would be leaving at the end of the fifth month and three Team Leaders within our squad would be raised up to take their positions. With that shift in leadership comes shuffling within the teams. And according to our plans, our team wasn't changing.
We were team R.O.A.R! We were in this till the end!
…..
Our plans, are not always God's plans.
Unlike other teams, who were totally split up, we had just one change.
But that one change took us all for a loop. We weren't expecting it.

And myself
My "new" team.
Team ROAR all stayed together…..minus Emma Misco.
For whatever reason, God chose to move her.
And we trust our leadership and know they have the mind of Christ when it comes to making these decisions…….but it still sucks.
We know God is in it. Psalms 145:17 reminds us of that…..
"The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does."
Still, change is hard.
For us as a team to go on and be the team we were won't work anymore…. because we aren't that same team. We can't replace Emma, nor the dynamic she held. But we are going to continue to pursue The Lord, and see what He wants from this team now.
To Emma: you are strong, beautiful, confident, and passionate. Things are going to be so different without you, and I'm going to miss you so much. But, I believe the Father has unimaginable plans for your team as well as ours. I'm so excited for you and the growth you are going to experience. Until we can snuggle again, I love you!
With one chapter ending, and another beginning we decided to rename ourselves because without all of us we can no longer be called Team ROAR . So through much prayer and looking up synonyms (thanks Chelsea) we have our new name.
Awakened Ezekiels
*fog machine and cool sounds*
We as a team felt strongly about the words passion, renaissance, rebirth, renewal, awake, and revive. We wanted our name to be prophetic for what we want to see happen in the months to come.
Ezekiel 37:4-10
4Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord. ' "
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army."
This is a season of us seeing God for who he really is.
Seeing The God who caused a valley full of dry dusty bones, come back to life.
We are walking in the anointing of Ezekiel.
Prophesying to those dry places not only for those in exile physically, but in spiritual exile and telling them to Arise.
We walk in the authority as an heir of Christ.
We WILL see the miraculous.
We WILL see the sick healed, the dead raised, the demon possessed freed.
We are Awakened Ezekiels.
