Ministry in Nepal was an eclectic assortment of fun things, that changed every day and kept us on our toes. Our contact, Deepak, was an unsung hero and discovered by other world race teams, my teammate Paige made an awesome video about his ministry that you can check out on her page!
It was eclectic and fun. It was beautiful and it was also sometimes really hard.
There were surprises. When sometimes we showed up to ministry and played pick-up basketball games and other times we started 2 hour prayer hikes up a mountain, that slowly turned to 8.
There were children and babies. The ones we visited on the street corners and orphanages.
And there were elderly and tourists from every corner of the world.
Lepers and lady monks, mountains and the plains of Chitwan.
Nepal is beautiful. The Lord is doing beautiful things there. Things that my eyes were able to see.
When a man was healed, and another man with leprosy saved, and when I got to see the biggest mountain in the world.
His hand was in everything – His hand is in everything –
Mountains are moving in Nepal.
