We all know the terrors of fundraising. Cookie dough, wrapping paper and candles are such a joy to try to convince people to buy… but who doesn’t want a new t-shirt? It can be a grueling process, this fundraising, but totally worth the experience. When the number $13,805 was put in front of me, it was haunting. How on earth was I going to be able to go on the trip God has called me to when I have to fund-raise that much money. Well that’s just it. GOD HAS CALLED ME to be a missionary, so He will provide me with the things it will take to get there. I have been reminded consistently that the Lord is oh so graceful, and He is holding me and my teammates in the palm of his hand and guiding us as we embark on this life changing journey.
