Hello dear friends, supporters, and blog-stalkers! It's been a few days since my last post and many things have happened. Here's a quick, but important, update:

I need $1,003 before December 15th and $10,000 more before June.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation that will impact the lives of so many people around the world. The widows, orphans, slaves, oppressed and unreached people of eleven different countries will be blessed and cared for, but not without the support of people like YOU! Any amount is appreciated. I'm doing a fundraising campaign called "$11 on 11/11 for 11n11". Check it out: http://www.facebook.com/events/162402230573340/

My squad is officially launching on January 8th in Washington D.C.!
Team leaders and logistics people are flying out a day early, but yours truly will officially start this journey on January 8th, 2013. Launch is the time when my squad will meet up for a few final days of training and commissioning before we fly out to our first country. I'm looking into the idea of flying to D.C. a few days early to stay with teammates to spend some time exploring our nation's capital with my parents. I'll keep you updated. If you or someone you know wants to pitch in some frequent flyer miles to help me off-set the cost of my plane ticket to D.C., then please contact me

Our route has changed.
We were just informed that our Race Route has been adjusted. The new route (in order) is as follows: Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, China, the Philippines. You may notice that India has been removed from the route and replaced with Bulgaria. I was genuinely upset when I heard this news because I had my heart set on returning to India. In fact I chose this particular Race Route partly because India was on it. I trust the Lord though. I know he has something for me in Bulgaria, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it is. Please join me in prayer for these countries!

My team has changed.
Last week my dear teammate Jordynn Haskins told us that she will be unable to join us on the Race in January. I'm so deeply saddened by this, and a little frustrated too. Jordynn has confidence in this decision though, and she has peace about the direction God is taking her. Without Jordynn, our team will only have five people. I'm unsure whether AIM will keep our team so small, but there's certainly a possibility that they will make some kind of change. Pray for Team R.O.A.R. in this time as we say goodbye to Jordynn and prepare for whatever is next.

I'm still looking for a sub-leaser.
I need a sub-leaser to fill my lease in Austin, Texas from January to July 2013. If you know someone who might be even remotely interested, please contact me. Or, if you're feeling especially generous and you want to support me in a unique way, consider paying for my lease so that I am able to leave in January. The cost is approximately $3,000.

Only one month and a day until I graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, and only two months and a day until I start my World Race journey. As you can imagine, I am extraordinarily busy – but life is good! I love you all dearly and I'm blessed by the people in my life who support me in the most remarkable ways. Pretty please keep me in your prayers, and don't be a stranger! I want to see each of you before I leave the country for a year. I'll be in Austin until mid-December then I'll be in Bulverde until Lanch. Let's hang out!
