The past few weeks have been so chaotic. It turns out that it’s difficult to be a senior in college, work part-time, do extra curricular activities, and prepare to leave the country for a year. Despite how overwhelmed I’ve been at times, by the grace of God I’ve managed to keep my head (mostly) above the water.

With that being said, I am so looking forward to training camp next week. On Saturday morning bright and early, I’m flying into Georgia where I’ll meet my squad for the first time. Together we’ll spend a week in the Georgian wilderness training and preparing for the next year.

We are given hardly any details about next week, so we don’t know what to expect other than training camp is designed to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually challenging. We can expect it to be difficult. Despite this though, I’m looking forward to a week apart from my busy life in Austin. I’m excited about sneaking away into the woods for a while, where the only distraction is the incredible beauty of God’s creation.

I vividly remember the last time I went to a training camp with Adventures in Missions. One night, the Lord used me to heal a teammate of Acid Reflux Disease and the next morning we flew to India. If this is the standard by which I can measure expectations for World Race training camp, I think it's safe to say that this week is going to be powerful and transformative!

Please join me in prayer for my squad and me this week. Pray for:
-Unity as a squad
-The Spirit to dwell among us and prepare us for ministry
-Health and safety
-The new teams that will be formed
-Continued financial provision
