Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to support me on this mission trip. I'm so grateful and humbled by your generosity and encouragement. In the past two and a half weeks, the Lord has provided over $1,100!
In ten days (October 1st), I must have $3,500 in my support account. That means I need $2,328 in ten days. Failure to raise this money by the deadline could jeopardize my ability to leave with my squad in January.
I know that the Lord is more than able to provide, and I'm trusting that he will show up in big ways. If you or someone you know is feeling called to help me reach my support raising goals, then please do not hesitate to support me through online donations, or by mailing a check to Adventures in Missions. Online donations will be added to my World Race account almost immediately, but there are fees associated with using credit cards online. Mailing a check will take a little longer, however I will receive 100% of your gift. If you mail a check in the next few days, please let me know so that I can inform Adventures in Missions that it's on the way.
If you're in the Austin area, tomorrow I'm having a yard sale fundraiser! I've cleaned out my closet and I'm ready to sell my stuff so I can go be a missionary for a while. I've also had some dear friends who have donated their things to help me out – thank you, everyone!

Again, thank you very much for all your prayers and support so far. This would not be possible without such an amazing group of people who have helped and supported me in so many ways. Please join me in prayer that the Lord would inspire people to give generously, and that His people would be obedient to His calling. I trust that the Lord has called me to go in January, so I'm confident that He will provide.
