Our
entire squad is now in Jinja, Uganda for the weekend. We leave Monday to head
out to our contacts all throughout Uganda. Which is super exciting!
On
the 6 hour ride over here I did some thinking. Welcome to my brain on the bus
ride…
What
if my theology and the choices I make are shaping my future? What then will my
future be? Do I like the outcome? Do I like the way I am living right now? Will
I like it in 20 years? More importantly does the Lord approve? When the pressures
come which side will I choose to stand on? Are the choices I am making today,
moment-by-moment, setting a course of decision making that will effect me
later?
More than ever I know the
answer is YES!
If I can’t withstand temptation now, what sense does it make to think I will
resist temptation as wickedness increases in a land?
Oh
I want eyes to see and ears to hear what The Spirit is saying to the Church in
THIS day that I might be ready in the coming day! I don’t want to be ever
seeing but never perceiving nor ever hearing but never understanding!
Random
Thought:
In
America you see groundhogs on the road side. Here in Uganda, you see baboons!
Wonderful!
***I would also like to apologize on behalf of the Countries of Kenya & Uganda for their slow internet that reports things such as it taking 13 hours to upload a video to Vimeo & 1901 hours, 22 minutes to upload to Facebook. Thus why there are no pictures or videos. It makes me sad too.
