So everyone going on the June and July Races assembled at a retreat center in the MIDDLE of NO WHERE for about 10 days. There the leadership of The World Race came to shrink our world, awaken us and grow us into community, then expand our world with the realities of life overseas.
It was:
10 days of powerful teachings.
10 days of God speaking.
10 days of living in community.
10 days of truth pouring into the deep places.
10 days of declaring life.
10 days of weird foods.
10 days of new friends.
10 days of not knowing the schedule.
10 days of love.
10 days of being called to my destiny.
10 days of laughter.
10 days of sweating in Georgia humidity.
10 days of hugs.
10 days of set aside time with Jesus.
10 days of 12 girls sharing one bathroom.
10 days of support everywhere you turned.
10 days of facing the HARD questions.
10 days of tears.
10 days of singing.
10 days of PROCESSING.
10 days of wearing name tags.
10 days……..10 days……10 days……10 days……was all it took to Empower my life.

On this journey through life, I’m finding that sometimes I think I live something out just because I know it. But really action isn’t a default that comes with knowledge. Action has to be that which you intentionally seek. Lots of people know things.
People “know” that smoking leads to cancer which leads to death, yet they smoke anyway.
People “know” that God answers prayer, yet they don’t pray.
IT’S TIME TO LIVE WHAT WE BELIEVE.
Personally,
I “know” that the truth sets me (and others) free (John 8:32), yet i don’t always declare truth over me.
I “know” that life and death is in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), yet I don’t constantly walk around speaking life to myself and other.
I think I walked in a season where I really KNEW declaring truth was powerful and WALKED it out in my life. But recently I’ve settled back down in a form of complacency trying not to be intense or crazy, etc. However, I reject complacency now in the Name of Jesus, because I know that I was called to live a life where what is in my head moves into action. And you are called to do the same thing.
IT’S TIME TO LIVE FULLY WHAT I KNOW.
While at Training Camp, one of the leaders taught us to declare truth over ourselves. Basically you just repeat what God says about you. We really need to know what God says about us so we can believe it, declare it, and tell other. Afterall we do walk around hearing lies from about every direction. Lies that Satan hopes to use to sabotage us with.
IT’S TIME TO LIVE IN GOD’S TRUTH NOT SATAN’S LIES.
So we would stand up and repeat LOUD OUT these declarations of the Bible. It’s typically more fun to stand on furniture and shout it out loud with friends….but alone or in company declare truth!!! These are the DECLARATIONS we were taught to speak out. NOTE: You may feel a little silly at first, or a little crazy, but there is POWER in your words.
Challenge:
Declare (shout out loud) these statements daily. (This will probably require you to actually print this off….do it!) Then see how your life changes. And believe me….your life will change!
***Also, if you know someone going through a hard time right now, you are free to declare this truths over them as well. It can literally change their situations!
Declarations #1: These 10
basic declarations are foundational to the building of your faith. They will increase expectancy of God’s
goodness; and thus, will increase the manifestation of that goodness in your
life. Jesus said, “according to your
faith, so be it. (Matthew 8:13)
- My prayers are powerful
and effective. (2 Cor 5:21. James
5:16b) - God richly supplies all
my financial needs (Phil 4:19) - I am dead to sin and
alive to obeying God (Romans 6:11) - I walk in
ever-increasing health (Isaiah 53:3-5, Ps 103:1-3) - I live under a
supernatural protection (Ps 91) - I prosper in all my
relationships (Luke 2:52) - I consistently bring
God-encounters to other people (Mark 16:17,18) - Through Jesus I am 100%
loved and worthy to receive all of God’s blessings (Gal 3:1-5) - Each of my family
members is wonderfully blessed and radically loves Jesus (Acts 16:30-31) - I uproariously laugh when I hear a lie
from the devil (Ps 2:2-4)
Declarations #2: Remember this: Faith is the
evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1).
Our evidence for things being true is not our circumstances, but God’s
promises. We don’t deny negative facts
in our lives, but we chose to focus on a higher reality; God’s truth. Faith indeed comes by hearing (Rom 10:17);
therefore, we speak to these powerful truths to build our own faith.
- I set the course of my
life with my declarations. (James
3:2-5) - God is on my side;
therefore I declare that I cannot be defeated, discouraged, depressed or
disappointed (Rom 8:37, Ps 91, Phil 4:13) - I am the head and not
the tail. I have insight, I have
wisdom. I have ideas and divine
strategies. I have authority (Deut
28:13, Deut 8:18, James 1:5-8, Luke 10:19) - As I speak God’s
promises, they come to pass. They
stop all attacks, assaults, oppression, and fear from my life. (2 Peter 1:2-4, Mark 11:23-24) - I have the wisdom of
God today. I will think the right
thoughts, say the right words, and make the right decisions in every
situation I face (James 1:5, 1 Cor 2:16) - I expect to have
powerful divine appointments today to heal the sick, raise the dead,
prophesy life and lead people to Christ, to bring deliverance, to release
signs and wonders and to bless every place I go (the Book of Acts) - I expect the best day
of my life spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and financially in
Jesus’ name (Rom 15:13)
Declarations #3: One of the main methods
Jesus and the apostles used was to SPEAK TO things. You will notice they did not ask God to heal
people, to cast out demons, or to raise the dead; but they spoke to the bodies,
to demons, to the wind, etc…Jesus encouraged us to speak to mountains in Mark
11:23. This set of declarations focuses much on our speaking to the various
aspects in our lives.
- I have a covenant with
God, and by the blood of Jesus I release my divine protection and divine
provision (Heb 8:6) - My angels are carrying
out the word of God on my behalf (Ps 103:20) - Any adversity, attack,
accidents and tragedies that were headed my way are diverted right now in
Jesus’ name (Ps 91) - I speak to the raging
waters in my life; peace, be still.
I say to my mind; peace, be still.
I say to my emotions; peace, be still. I say to my body; peace, be still. I say to my home; peace, be still. I say to my family; peace, be still (Mark 4:39) - Now I speak to every
mountain of fear, every mountain of discouragement, every mountain of
stress, every mountain of depression, every mountain of lack and
insufficiency; and I say, “be removed and cast into the sea in Jesus’
name!� (Mark 11:22-24) - And I speak to this day
and I call you blessed. And I
declare that I serve a mighty God who today will do exceedingly and
abundantly beyond all that I can ask or think (Eph 3:20). I say you are a GOOD GOD and I eagerly
anticipate your goodness today.
