Rebekah and I got to spend Easter weekend in Transylvania. We hopped on a train Friday night, expecting 5 hours but ended up on an 11 hour over night train. I laughed a bit about how unprepared and ironic that was but non the less enjoyed the ride. We were able to see a bit of the city (from the car) and spend Easter with a Romanian family. The family has a 15 year old girl, 13 year old boy, and twin 7 year olds. The two oldest spoke English and have interacted with many Americans. The twins were quite but funny to watch. On Easter we had about 25 people over for a progressive lunch, lasting about 3 hours with lots of amazing food. We then headed back Sunday night at 10pm. We spent a total of 25 hours traveling and 41 hours in Cluj. Totally worth the trip!! Here are some pictures from the weekend:
