I have had such a wonderful and exciting experience over these last six months. I have been blessed beyond belief to be able to travel and love on people all over the world. However, I am both sad and a little bit relieved to announce that I will be leaving the race and returning to my family and friends back in Ohio. I have learned so much, done so much and experienced more in the half-year than I have been out on the field than I could ever imagine. I truly am thankful for everything.
I believe it is completely in God’s will now that I return home. Sometimes he doesn’t give us choices, but keeps closing doors until our only option is the one he’s left open for us. I know that his work for me is not finished, just the course altered, and I can continue to share his love and hope back in America. I am excited to go home and prepare for a new chapter in my life.
My only regret is for you, my supporters. I have been so blessed by your prayers and encouragement. My request is that you continue to pray for me as I transition back home. Please continue to follow my teammates’ blogs – your generosity continues to support their efforts as they continue the race.
