Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this letter finds you well, I want to share with you something exciting going on in my life! I am excited to share that come January 01, 2015 I will be leaving for the World Race, you may wonder what exactly the world rice is and what it may have to do with you?? Well ….. I’m pleased to announce I will be serving as a missionary through Adventures in Missions (AIM), in their World Race program, an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world! In January 2015, I’m heading out with just a backpack and my team to Dominican Republic, Haiti, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Swaziland, Botswana and South Africa. We will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to set aside everything I thought my life was about and pursue the One who created me as He allows me to be His hands, feet and voice to people around the world who are desperate for even a glimmer of hope. It will be one of the most challenging things I’ll ever do, but I’m so excited to let my light shine for Jesus in some of the darkest places of the world while being challenged and changed into the woman God desires me to be. God has opened this door and I know He will provide for my needs! My desire to serve Christ in this capacity is a result of all of you sharing in my life, encouraging me to pursue His higher calling. I want to go on this race representing the people who have made me who I am. So I’m asking you to help me make this a reality. Will you consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in this mission? I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race, which covers all of my expenses on the field.
