2 and a half years ago I heard about the World Race for the first time.

1 year ago I found out I was accepted to go on the World Race.

7 months ago I switched to a January route.

10 days from now I fly to Georgia and meet my squad for training camp.

94 days from now I leave the United States and travel for 11 months to 11 different countries.

Time is moving so fast and these numbers are pretty hard for me to believe. 2 and a half years ago the World Race was just a distant, crazy idea; now it is a close, crazy reality.

The Lord has humbled me in so many ways in preparing for this journey. Fundraising is not easy, and it is definitely not comfortable. Asking for help has never been easy for me. I don’t like having to rely on other people- and I think in a way that has distanced me from God. Thinking that you can accomplish everything on your own is a joke. Things just don’t work when you’re doing it alone. I have had lean on the Lord fully in this process. God has blessed me through all the friends, family, and strangers who have supported me thus far.

I would just like to say thank you if you have supported me in my World Race preparation, either financially or in prayer! I appreciate it more than words can describe.

If you are feeling called in anyway to support me I ask that you listen to the spirt and consider making a donation. Any amount helps! Making a donation is really simple and tax deductible! Click the “support me” tab on the left side of this blog or on the funds bar on the top, and it is really easy from there.

I would also appreciate it if you would keep my squad and I in your prayers as we get closer to leaving the US and set off to spread the gospel to people who otherwise may not have the opportunity to hear it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog (: Subscribe to my blog to get notifications whenever I post (I promise I’ll be writing more often as the Race gets closer!) Please don’t hesitate to contact me with ANY questions!

God bless!
