8 days of Training Camp = AWESOME!
Wow I cannot believe that Training Camp is here and gone already! It seems I was just last minute packing everything up and making sure my flight was still on schedule, now I’m back home settling in and missing my D Squad (and even my friends from C and E squad)!!! I learned so many things while at camp, but these two main things especially:
1. God is Holy.
1 Samuel 2:2 – ” No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.
2. I am here to bring His KINGDOM to this lost and dying world.
Psalms 145:11-13a- They shall speak of the glory of thy Kingdom, and tell of thy power, to make known unto the sons of man thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations.
I can honestly say that I went into training camp feeling nervous and still slightly unsure if this was what God wanted for me, I am now at total peace and am 100% sure that The World Race is what God has in mind for the next upcoming 11 months of my life!
I came to camp with the words ‘Unloved’ in my heart and mind.
I walked away from camp with the words ‘I Love You My Child’ engraved on my heart.
I came with fears, past regrets, soul-ties, bitterness, and insecurities.
I left forgiven and set free of those things.
I came with 42 little facebook profile images in my head.
I left with 42 crazy-awesome dear to my heart family members!
I came believing in the Holy Spirit and its power.
I left having felt the Holy Spirit’s power come down and touch me personally. The feeling………Cannot be described!
I came believing that I would be taught how to share God’s love for the world through stories,props, and pictures.
I left, learning that ‘MY’ life story, is what God will use to share His love for the world with.

What I am currently up to:
Now that I am back home from training camp I have gone back to working my part time job at Walmart, while continuing to work on raising funds.
In my AIM missions account I currently have a total of :
$3,632.50
That amount needs to be brought up to a total of:
$6,500.00
by December 18th 2011.
My goal is to have the grand total of:
$15,500.00
by the time I leave in January.
If you would like to help me get closer to one of those goals, please prayerfully consider making a donation whether its $5,$15,$500, or $5,000. Whatever the amount, it is greatly needed and appreciated!!
