The World Race:
– 11 countries in 11 months missions trip!
Challenges:
– Living in a tent, cooking over a campfire, showering only a couple of times a week!
– Leaving behind everyone and everything I know and love!
– Learning to live without everyday conveniences
– Putting up with bugs and strange foods everyday!
– Trusting that God will provide all the financial support needed to go.
– Giving complete control to God, not worrying over every detail.
Things that will make all the challenges worth it:
– Sharing the Love of Christ Jesus with the lost.
– Being a light in this world of darkness.
– Bringing hope to the hopeless.
– Knowing that I will be more grateful for everything I have in life.
– Being able to trust that God is going to provide all of my financial support needed to go.
– Being able to give complete control over to Him, not having to worry because I am held in His hand!
What I still need: YOUR HELP!
I need people to pick out an item from my gear list on rei.com that they would like to buy and donate to for my trip.
I need financial support! I have just successfully passed my first deadline of $3,500 by Oct. 2nd Praise God!!!
I have three more deadlines that I must meet before the launch of my trip in January.
$6,500 – Due 12/18/2011 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
$11,000 – Due 4/1/2012 (End of 3 months on the field)
$15,500 – Total Due 7/1/2012 (End of 6 months on the field)
