Dear Emily,
First off I would like to say how proud of you, (me) that I am for saying yes even when you don’t know see this whole picture. I’m proud of how far you’ve come ever since you applied for the race, how much faith you have in the Lord. That He promises to complete the things he has already started in you. Keep trusting. Keep saying yes! You’re about to spend a whole year without your best friends, your wonderful family, and your 4 fur babies. It’s happening!
Whenever you begin to doubt that you’re not supposed to be on the race just remember how God provided the money for this. For this moment that you were destined for. Over the next 11 months things are going to get uncomfortable and hard, BUT just as the Lord promises in his word that not only He is with you through it, but He’s already gone before you and prepared every step. DON’T FORGET THAT! Even though in this moment you’re scared, you’re going to go, because God makes you able & brave.
Right now all you see is the people you’re leaving behind and the things you’re going to miss out on, BUT there is SO much ahead! So much joy and love to be spread.
SO…let’s do this thing! Because you were made for such a time as this!!!
