Can I be honest? Like really honest?
Waiting Stinks! Can I get an amen?!
Being in a waiting season is hard. Doubt begins to creep in and wonder, wonder if God is still speaking, still there in the midst of the quiet. I found myself questioning not only what I believe about God, but who He is to me.
I began asking Him questions and leaned in a little closer and found the answers..
–Are you going to provide for me? YES! He is faithful to do exceedingly even more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work in us. [Ephesians 3:20]
–Do you love me? YES! He demonstrated his great love for us when we are still sinners, He died for me. & YOU! That is more than enough. [Romans 5:8]
–Are you trustable? YES! Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. He’s worthy to be trusted. [Proverbs 3:5-6] To trust him that He has the finances already figured out. He will protect me. He has what’s best for me.
–Do you even hear my cry? YES! He hears and knows every desire. In my distress I call His name. From His temple he heard my voice: my cry came before him, into his ears. [Psalm 18:6]
Instead of loosing patience and hope I cling to my father.
Because He’s so good and so worthy of it all!
