Oh travel days…

There are not enough words to describe the hours and days that we spend on several different buses while traveling…so I thought I would compile a video full of pictures and video clips of the beautiful scenery that surrounded us throughout our journey from Peru to Bolivia.

We spent 3 days traveling on 3 different buses to meet up with the rest of our squad in Bolivia.

As relaxing as it may seem to sit on a bus and enjoy the beautiful mountains and valleys we pass by..it is not as glorious as it may seem. Before we even left the bus station, my friend Jesse's day pack was stolen. There were 3 different teams of world racers and not one person saw this happen….there were some sneaky theives on the loose and we were not going to let this happen to anyone else…

When you are trying to sleep on a bus with your back pack strapped around your ankles 5 times to make sure the theives don't steal your valuables, it can be pretty frightening. And when your riding on a bus that is infested with baby cockroaches that are crawling at your feet and all around your seat..it can be uncomfortable…and when you are stuck on a bus without a bathroom…well thats a different story for another time…the good news is that I was able to finish an entire journal throughout my travels…(my ipod decided to die on the first day so I had to do something prodcutive)…and as far as the banana goo goes..before we even started our travels, right when we arrived at the bus station, the banana that I was saving for the ride, was found smashed inside my backpack and all over my stuff…CHOOSE JOY 🙂

But through all the stressful, bizarre, and frightening bus experiences..we survived!

We spent about 4 days in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, unwinding from our travels and getting ready to begin again, then we had a beautiful Easter Sunday service at our hostel before heading out on our journey to Eastern Europe!

So here it is…Enjoy! 🙂
