In month nine I had this dream where the whole squad came together for a ministry finale. With Thanksgiving landing at the end of our month 11, I pictured a day of giving back by using our gifts one last time as a whole squad to love on the people of Romania, our last stop.
Well today that dream came true.
Yesterday Porky (aka Rebecca) and I ventured out in the snow to shop for our guests.
Today the squad came together to do the things our World Race shirts state…
Feed the hungry.
Clothe the naked.
Heal the sick.
…in one final celebration of a holiday we hold dear back home.
We set up six stations: a non traditional Thanksgiving buffet, children’s crafts, nail painting, medical, clothing, and prayer!
The evening was a big hit. About 200 Romanians showed up. And we got to work alongside each other one last time.
