I am finally in New Zealand!!! It has been a long couple of days (at least I think its been only 2 days)!! We finally arrived in Auckland around 5:30ish this morning. We are actually about 2 hours South of Auckland. When we left LA it was Sunday and when we arrived in New Zealand it was a Tuesday!! How werid is that? We completely lost an entire day flying. It is still super werid to me, but I know I will get used to it. I am so excited to finally be here and let me tell you how beautiful it is here. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It is rolling green hills, sunny, and of course sheep!! I am so in love with this place and can’t believe I will be here a month!! I feel so blessed to be able to make this journey.
Now let me tell you about seeing my friends again!! It was so exciting at LA to see everyone (well almost everyone) again. It was like we picked up right were we left off 2 months ago at training camp. I am so excited to be reunited with my team Malachi. These are the most amazing people and I feel so honored to be spending the next 11 months as a family. I am also blessed to have the people I do on my squad. Everyone is so special in there own way and I can’t wait to be with them for 11 months, as well. I am so excited to get started and see what our first adventure will be. Right now we are training for a few days, before we are sent out on the field. I cannot wait to see what our team will be doing. I will keep everyone posted on what we are doing!!!
I love everyone and I miss everyone and I don’t know how often I will be able to update with blog, but trust me when I do, I will be over flowing with exciting news!!! Peace
