This past month has been full of ups & downs. The beginning was super rough & I didn’t understand why I was here, but during debrief God gave me so much clarity. For those of you that might not know what debrief is, it’s basically a break from ministry; a time to relax, do fun adventure stuff, have sessions with the entire squad, & like always, spend time with the Lord. Debrief lasted 8 days & it was a blast! I was still struggling to understand why I was here & the one night I was in such an awful mood, my depression took over, & I honestly wanted to come back home. My squad was having a session that night & I was trying to figure out how I could skip, but I was messaging my mom & she told me that if I wanted to skip, that probably meant the message was for me. She was so right. Our one coach, Tom, spoke & it was as if he made the message just for me. After that night, God continued to show me why He has me here. Especially the night my team & I experienced all the spiritual warfare crap, as talked about in my last blog. I no longer question why I’m here & I feel ready to take on whatever comes my way.

Last night, my team & I settled into our new ministry in Latacunga. The ministry is called For His Children, which works with kids who no longer have parents, were abandoned, have special needs, etc. Looking in the eyes of these kids, knowing they’ve had a rough past, literally breaks my heart & I’ve been fighting back the tears. But one thing we were reminded of, is that there is HOPE for these kids & we shouldn’t look at them as poor, helpless human beings. All of the kids are up for adoption or sponsorship. I’d love to take pictures & share them with you all, but due to legal stuff, we were asked not to post pictures of the kids. But I will let you all know that they are some of the cutest kids I ever did see & I would bring them all back home with me if I could. So yeah, please just continue to pray over my team as we get started with this new ministry. Also, I currently have $12,129 raised & need $13,000 by this November 30th! Thanks so much!
