At the end of Tanzania, we were blessed to take a spring break in Zanzibar. It was a time to rest and relax and enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches and the clearest water that I have ever seen. But it was also a time that was bittersweet because three more of my squad mates were going home, which meant team changes.
Being on the same team for seven months can be a rare occurrence on the world race but I find myself extremely blessed being with my Segullah girls. I have learned a great deal from them and I am sad that we were separated but I am also very excited to what is to come.
I was on a team of 6 girls and now I am on a team of 4 girls. Our team name is Hadassah, the name that Esther is refered by in the book of Esther 2:7. Just like my last team name (Segullah) was prophetic so is Hadassah. Esther was a brave women, she found favour in everyones eyes, she was beautiful without any extras, she feared the Lord and loved her family and people.
