Hello!
For those of you who don’t know me, I was raised in Upstate New York and am the fourth child in a family of eight. I love mountains, kayaking, my family, ice cream, hiking, aerial silks, trees, biking, my church family, ultimate frisbee, reading, LOTR, coffee, working with exotic animals, and challenging discussions with friends and family about God, life and love.
I moved to Nevada for a job at an exotic animal sanctuary after receiving a BS in Wildlife Biology from a state university. While I had enjoyed where God had brought me over the course of those two years of living in Nevada, I still began to feel somewhat discontent, as if I weren’t tapping into my true potential or purpose. I began to seek the Lord and ask what He wanted me to do next, whether it was to press into this season of life or move on to something else He had in mind for me.
Through time seeking Him and talking with mentors, I began to feel the Lord leading me to go on the World Race. When doors kept opening as I began the application process, I became increasingly convinced that this was something He was calling me to do. I am incredibly excited for what He will do in and through me during this amazing adventure! Thank you for joining me on this journey as I step out in faith to what the Lord is calling me to do!
