please check out a glimpse of what God did in Botswana.
Month 6 in Botswana was honestly a challenging month.
We had ATL (Ask the Lord) ministry month.
What does this look like?
We ask the Lord to lead us where He would like us to go for ministry for the month. We pray. We connect with others. We pray. We go out into the community. We pray. We have ministry within our team. We pray. We have intentional conversations with strangers. We pray. We share who we’d like to come to know Christ. We pray. We worship together. We pray. We ask other ministry hosts in the area if they need help with anything or if they know of anyone that does. We pray. We go out. We pray.
Every morning, our team comes together to pray, worship, share, read, amongst other things!
At the beginning of our time in Gaborone, we sought after what the Lord wanted for us to do this month.
We had the divine opportunity to serve in an orphanage, help in a school (I taught 1st grade. I’m not a teacher! It was a lot of fun), hospital ministry, helping at a local church, cafe ministry, hotel ministry, and more! It has been awesome to see God move through it all!
It has also been so exciting to see God move through random (or not so random) encounters with people in the community.
