What is my calling? What makes, me, ME? What has carried with me since my beginning? Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to travel the world and share Jesus’ love with others.
God has given me great passion for the Nations and the 10/40 window. I want the unreached to become reached with God’s Truth! I want to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).
Currently, I am a student leader of Bridges International at UW-Green Bay that welcomes international students. We are here to serve them, provide social opportunities, and be a spiritual resource. Being exposed to internationals has given me more of a world vision as in I want to see the world reached by the Gospel. I want everyone to have the chance to hear the Gospel and respond to it.
Also, I want to see how they live. I love that during the World Race we get to live like the locals or as much as foreigners can.
Additionally, I want to live more simply. I believe living out of a backpack will be very challenging and stretching; it will help me rely on God more!
Matthew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
This verse has been coming up in my life, and I want to always be aware of where my heart is truly.
All the excess of materialism in America is a huge distraction. There is so much that gets our attention, and I want my devoted attention to be to God before anything else. God needs to be my focus, my center, my LIFE!
I want to experience real, raw, and true community. God made us for relationships! I think being around people 24/7 will be difficult, but definitely stretching and growing. I am mostly an introvert and need my alone time to become energized, refreshed, and to process, but it will reap the benefits of being encouraged and loved by my teammates!
I am continuing to learn how to not give into the pressure of how society views what would be “successful” and instead to have an eternal perspective.
I continue to pray for God to amaze me and my teammates!
Please pray with me for God to prepare the hearts of my teammates, the people we meet in each country, and myself! Thank you! <3
