Many of you might have already heard, but one of our squad
mates, Trevor Curington,
has been very sick with Malaria. His team was about 13 hours outside of Kiev,
Ukraine, when Tyler & Austin decided to fly him
to the city for treatment. It turns out he had all 4 types of malaria,
parasites, and a ruptured spleen! He has been receiving treatment here for over
a week. His dad flew in a few days ago to be with him as well. My team, being
the only one in Kiev, has been taking turns staying with him and hosting
everyone at our flat. Tonight they are planning to fly Trev to London for
further treatment. He is improving and finally stable enough to move to a
better hospital. We praise God for the progress he has made; it was a real
scare there for a while. The doctors said on a scale of 1-10, he was a 9.5…

I’m telling you all of this so you can each remember Trevor,
his family, & friends in your prayers. The situation is still very serious,
but we serve the Ultimate Doctor! We have seen God heal people all year and we
expect the same results with our brother, Trevor. As a squad, we are all pretty
sad to see Trevor leave the race, but we know it’s for the best…

Thank you for your
prayers…you are loved…
