moments where you start to question your purpose or calling in life? Many times
we tend question who we are, what we are doing, why are we here, what is our
purpose? If you go to the bookstore you will find countless books on the
subject and for $29.99 you can find ALL the answers! It is easy to
unintentionally let the lies of the world creep in and become a part of our
beliefs. In life, at some point, most of us have started to believe some of the
things people told us about ourselves. Things we either heard in school, from
our parents, or perhaps friends and coworkers…but does it really matter who the
world says we are? I want to dwell on who Christ says I am!
Last
year I started making a list of verses that define who I am in God’s eyes. Truth.
Truth. More Truth. I
try to constantly look at the list when the doubts try to creep in and I remind
myself who God says I am. If you fill yourself with enough truth, you will
start to believe it! At debrief, my squad leader, Robby, gave us some more
verses that I added to my list. I want to encourage you to read these and
remind yourself of who god says you are! We are children of the king! God’s
heir!! That
one gets me every time! …an HEIR who will share in His inheritance! That’s pretty
big stuff! I can hardly even wrap my mind around that, but I know that it makes
me super excited and gives me great joy! My confidence is in HIM! If you have
