Remember Ayesha from The Philippines?
Well, as I logged into facebook this afternoon, I had an incredible surprise! Ramil, our contact and pastor from The Philippines went to see sweet baby Ayesha. He took pictures of Ayesha and her mom, Geraldine. It looks like they are doing great! God rescued Ayesha's life in December, and I am humbled to have been apart of it.
As I've talked to Geraldine throughout the past few months, I am in awe of the work God is doing in her and her family. Jesus has shown up in her life in extraordinary ways and there is not a time when I talk to Geraldine, that she is not grateful for what God has done for her and Ayesha. She knew that Jesus showed HImself in a miraculous way as He saved Ayesha's life — what a sweet picture of the Gospel.
I get giddy excited when I hear that Ayesha is doing well! She is an important part of my life and story of The World Race. I am so thankful to have seen God's hand tangibly at work – and to continue to see Him pour His blessings forth!
