JACOB SAUL PORTILLO!
Jake, was drafted to our team, from another team on our squad during our last debrief in Nicaragua just before journeying to The Philippines. His presence on our team is as of a missing piece to a beautiful puzzle that Jesus is creating of Team Sweet Aroma. Yes, our team was pretty stellar before Jake — but now, Sweet Aroma is even more of a powerhouse for the Kingdom of God. If you knew Jake, you would know what I was talking about.
Jake is from Orlando, Florida and has a fiery passion for the Word of God. He studies God's Word constantly, as he desires deeply to understand the depths of the Scriptures. Jake can give an anointed sermon anywhere — and, I mean… anointed. God speaks through Jake more powerfully than I've heard Him speak through most people. Jake is an incredible servant of the King and God has massive plans for him.
Jake has been called to the race and he has been called to Team Sweet Aroma. In fact, Jake's tag line for the race is :
"It is by GRACE that I am on the race."
Jake needs our support to continue the journey that God has set out for him. He is in need of financial support as he is a few thousand dollars down from the already past December 1 deadline.
