South Africa. Month 6. December 2011-January 2012.
We'll be serving in Cape Town, South Africa this month.

“The projects are designed to provide continuous solutions to help the poor communities of South Africa. Our aim is to disciple children and walk alongside children and adults bringing them to their God given talents. We aim to create an environment where people flourish in their God-Given gifts and are encouraged to pursue their dreams by adding 'HOPE' into their lives.”

Our specific project will be the Soccer Project; building relationships with street kids in the morning, then putting on soccer camps in the afternoons. It’s been 7 years since I graced the soccer fields at Sauk Prairie High School, but I think I still have some skills (they just might need to be dusted off and stretched out…)

With the info I have at this point, I’m thrilled for what the next month holds. More to come!
