The Campus Crusade Staff Team in Korce, Albania were my peeps this month!
Well, I can’t leave a country without giving a shout out to all my peeps that I worked with for the month…and link a sweet video with a recap of the ministry, so here’s my Albanian peeps (really, the Korce CCC staff team):

My sweatpants were drying, so I rocked my shorts and socks. Anila thought I looked like a Boy Scout, so it was "Scouts Honor" from that night on…
Anila
Hands down, one of the craziest people I know, in the best way possible! She knows more American movies and music than I ever will and loves a good dance party. What I really appreciate about her is her love for God and passion to share it with everyone she meets.

Juli, Vasi and Anila on their way to a wedding
Vasi
Sweet. Sweet. Sweet. Vasi doesn’t speak a lot of English but a kind spirit doesn’t need to be translated. She cares deeply about people and works diligently to share the Good News with others. On a lighter note, I think I found my European twin because this girl loves CHEESE! We bonded over this fact and shared many laughs together!

Vasi, Anila and Juli
Juli
Patient persistence. That’s how I’d describe Juli. She’s been on staff in Korce for 6 years (persistent) and is incredibly patient with college students. I watched multiple times as she waited for girls to get ready, take phone calls or chat with other people while she’s sharing with them. Like the other girls, we’ve had our fair share of belly laughs at the apartment after a day on campus!

Zamir and Anila at a friend's wedding
Zamir
The fiancé of Anila, Zamir is equally as crazy; they’re one of the funniest couples I’ve met! He is incredibly effective at campus ministry because young men are attracted to him and notice something drastically different about him. While he can play the tough athletic guy, he has quite the twinkle toes on the dance floor! This man can cut a rug!

Tola, Mattias and Toni (minus 4 year old Trevis)
Toni and Tola
Toni and Tola are an incredible example of a family following the Lord. They balance the responsibilities of campus ministry and leading a team with raising a family and raising the next generation. Toni has a great sense of humor and Tola has the most nurturing, safe personality. They’ve been a joy to work with this month!
So, those are my peeps. I love ‘em all!
Now, for your enjoyment, here’s a recap video of my last month in Korce, Albania:
