WELCOME TO ALBANIA (SHQIPERIA)

ALBANIAN FLAG

ALBANIA IS LOCATED IN EASTERN EUROPE, EAST OF THE ADRIATIC SEA

I'M SERVING IN KORCE (PRONOUNCED CORE-CHA), THE COLDEST CITY IN THE COUNTRY!
CRU, formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ, is the ministry we are partnering with this month. Ever heard of it? Ha! I was thrilled to find out this was our ministry because I have been on staff with this organization for the last two years in Central Wisconsin. Here’s a brief outline of what we’re all about:
Ministry: CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) “Student Life” or Jete Studentore in Albania.
Mission: To turn lost (college) students into Christ-centered laborers.
Means:
“Win” Talk to students about Jesus in many ways
-Conversations
-Outreaches
-Media
“Build” CRU is about changed lives. We help students grow in their relationship with God through:
–Conferences and Retreats
–Biblical life application
–Mentoring relationships
–Learning how to tell others about Christ
“Send” CRU sends students into the world through:
–Short-term and long-term mission trips
–Church leadership
–Ministry in the work place
–Full-time Christian service
How we fit: Students have just started classes at University Fan S. Noli. We will play a crucial role in many of the first week’s activities, outreaches, conversations and media. We will mostly be working in the “win” category of the ministry as we give a boost to the full time staff.

THE CRU STAFF WITH FAMILY FORCE 6 AFTER PASSING OUT MAGAZINES.THE MAGAZINES HAVE ARTICLES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THIS AGE GROUP AND ALLOWS THE STAFF TO MEET STUDENTS AND INVITE THEM TO MINISTRY EVENTS.
